ProgTop 40 aller tijdendoor JoJo1 Meddle - Pink Floyd



De impact van deze plaat en dan met name het nummer ´Echoes´ op de progressieve muziek, op mij en op Pink Floyd zelf is dermate groot geweest dat ik niet anders en vrij snel kon concluderen dat dit een nummer 1 was. Voor het eerst, voor zover ik weet, besloeg 1 track een gehele plaatkant. Met die track 'Echoes' had Pink Floyd haar definitieve gedaante wel gevonden na het vertrek van Syd Barrett en op die wijze werd 'Meddle' de voorbode van 'Darkside of the Moon', 'Wish You Were Here' en 'Animals'.
